I don’t read Tarot at ALL (I think NewAge rhymes with “sewage” when it comes to this sort of thing generally), but I saw a very unusual deck online a few years and got hooked on collecting them as an art form, so I buy a really out there deck from time to time when I see something awesome. Now that it’s come up, though…should I will do a reading on my blog and see what the card have to say? Hm.

On the downside of celebrity meetings, in 1987 I knocked Matthew Broderick right on his ass on 6th Avenue in New York City due to my being completely oblivious. And no, he did not give me an autograph… Other than that unfortunate incident (he was on crutches at the time after the horrible car accident he was in with Jennifer Grey), I have had AMAZINGLY good celebrity karma in my life!

Carrie once had the snot scared out of her by Judge Judy.

jimsmuse sez: I forgot I told you that story! When I worked in a law office in Brooklyn, NY in 1989 my boss sent me to the Brooklyn Family Court to deliver some paperwork to Judge Judy’s courtroom. She was feared by all even back then (and wore those cute lace collars on her robes as well) and I found out why when I handed the paperwork to the wrong clerk. After the tongue lashing I received from her on “proper conduct” I left the courtroom in tears, and still can’t bring myself to watch her show!
